SANY Delivers World’s First 4,000-Tonne All-Terrain Crane

SANY has delivered the world’s first 9-axle, 4,000-tonne all-terrain crane, the SAC40000T, to a Chinese hoisting company. This crane is designed with the highest lifting capability on the fewest axles, setting a new industry standard.

The SAC40000T has an 81m full extension boom and a 124m jib designed exclusively for wind turbine installation. It is fitted with 350t counterweights and has a lifting height of 200m.

It has the capacity to raise 375t to 100m high at an 18m radius and 200t to 185m high at a 30m radius, making it ideal for next-generation turbine applications.
