ZOOMLION has successfully delivered batches of its ZR255R rotary drilling rigs to the UAE, marking the official debut of its R-series in the Middle East. Designed for the region’s challenging geology and harsh climate, the ZR255R is already gaining traction in key infrastructure projects.
Capable of four drilling methods—Kelly drilling, casing following, CFA, and casing oscillator systems—the rig is well-suited for urban foundation work and desert-based power tower piling. It features a high-torque power head, 2-meter max drilling diameter, and over 60 meters of depth, with smart automation such as one-click soil dumping and auto-lubrication.
Built to withstand sand, heat, and dust, the ZR255R also complies with local emission standards. ZOOMLION’s dedicated support network in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah ensures reliable service, spare parts, and operator training across the UAE.
