AR Racking partners with the UK’s Cold Chain Federation to drive a more efficient and sustainable cold chain

AR Racking, a global specialist in the design, manufacture and installation of industrial storage systems, has announced its official membership of the Cold Chain Federation, the leading voice for businesses that store, handle and transport temperature-controlled goods in the United Kingdom.

With more than 90 % of its production destined for export and a commercial presence in over 60 countries, AR Racking brings the Federation an unrivalled blend of engineering expertise, innovation and international best practice. From conventional pallet racking to bespoke high-density solutions, AR Racking’s technologies enable cold-store operators, food manufacturers and pharmaceutical distributors, among others, to maximise capacity, optimise energy efficiency and meet the most demanding safety and sustainability standards.

“Becoming part of the Cold Chain Federation is a natural step in our growth strategy for the United Kingdom and Ireland,” says Ander Iturralde, Regional Area Manager UK at AR Racking. “We share the Federation’s commitment to driving excellence, reducing emissions and safeguarding product integrity at every link in the cold chain. Our team is eager to collaborate with fellow members, exchange knowledge and raise cold-storage performance nationwide.”

The alliance positions AR Racking at the heart of a network that influences regulation, promotes technical training and fosters innovation throughout the cold chain. Membership will enable AR Racking to contribute actively to sector-wide initiatives on energy management, the transition to low-impact refrigerants and digitalisation—areas in which the company already supports its customers.
