Ebara to strengthen Service & Support bases in the Middle East and North America

Ebara Corporation is set to open a new service shop for its energy products in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, while also expanding its existing service facility in Houston, Texas, USA. These efforts are part of the Japanese company’s strategy to enhance its global service network in response to evolving industry trends, including carbon neutrality and the energy transition.

With the Middle East and Asia identified as key growth regions in the energy sector, Ebara expects increasing demand for service and support (S&S) for compressors, turbines, and custom pumps. The new service shop in Abu Dhabi, expected to open in the fourth quarter of FY2025, will complement the company’s existing operations in Saudi Arabia and the recently established service shop for compressors and turbines, which began operating in 2023.

In Houston, Ebara is expanding the capacity of its current service shop from 7,000 square meters to 9,300 square meters. This expansion, scheduled for completion in June 2025, aims to enhance the company’s ability to provide advanced and timely services for rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines.

Additionally, as part of the integration of sales and service functions for compressors, turbines, and custom pumps, Ebara opened its first service shop in Indonesia earlier this year to address the growing demand in that region.

To further optimize its global service network and improve profitability, Ebara has consolidated its service shops in Burlington, Canada, and Guatemala. These moves are designed to streamline operations and better serve customers as they shift their operating bases and markets to different regions.
