CHAB has reached a new milestone by successfully handing over the first two New Generation EC360 excavators in Thailand, reinforcing its growing role in expanding Volvo CE’s presence in the market. The delivery to Southern Group highlights rising customer confidence in Volvo CE’s New Generation lineup and the dealer’s ability to support large-scale, demanding operations with complete fleet solutions.
Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) has marked a significant milestone in Thailand with the successful delivery of the first two New Generation EC360 excavators, further strengthening its presence in the market through authorised dealer Chairatchakarn Bangkok (CHAB).
The delivery follows a series of successful New Generation excavator launches and customer engagement events held throughout the year, underscoring strong market interest in Volvo CE’s New Generation machines. It also represents another important step forward for CHAB, which has already built strong momentum in Thailand with the introduction of the New Generation EC210 and EC220 excavators.
The two New Generation EC360s were delivered to Southern Group, making the company the first customer in Thailand to operate the powerful 36-tonne excavator. Southern Group operates extensively within Thailand’s mining and quarry sectors, managing multiple projects across several regions, with a strong footprint in the southern part of the country. The addition of the two EC360s reflects the customer’s confidence in Volvo CE’s ability to deliver high performance, durability, and productivity in demanding applications.
In addition to the two EC360s, CHAB successfully delivered a full fleet package to Southern Group, comprising two EC210 excavators and one EC220 excavator, reinforcing Volvo CE’s role as a long-term solutions partner capable of supporting customers with a complete, integrated fleet.

For CHAB, the delivery also signals continued progress as a new Volvo CE dealer in Thailand.
